Communication Tips for Chicks

The Chamber will host a virtual leadership forum on Thursday, November 12th from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The program, “Communication Tips for Chicks,” will be presented by Debbie Crow, Principal, FourCrows LLC

In this session, we’ll discuss being self-aware without being self-conscious, being authentic while flexing to the communication style necessary to be effective, and identifying and refining your personal communications style.

For nearly 30 years, Debbie has provided communications strategies and guidance for male-dominated leadership teams. Debbie effectively taps into the communication styles of both genders, and as a result, her colleagues have described her as caring, bold, a straight-shooter, thoughtful, engaging, and professional yet personable. A senior leader proficient at developing innovative and creative communication and change management approaches, Debbie is passionate about helping organizations create, implement and articulate strategic communications during times of significant change. Prior to establishing her own consulting firm, Debbie served most recently as the Director of Corporate Communications for Greif, Inc. She served in a similar capacity at The Andersons in Maumee for 11 years and Cooper Tire & Rubber Company in Findlay for 13 years. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Ball State University and a master’s degree in organization development from Bowling Green State University.
