Advantages of Hiring Adults with Disabilities
The Chamber will facilitate a virtual Small Business Workshop presented by the Blanchard Valley Center, focused on accommodating adults with disabilities in the workforce and the advantages of doing so. This webinar will take place on Tuesday, October 27th, at 11 am.
In this session, we’ll discuss helping Ohio employers fill their workforce needs and support their diversity & inclusion goals with Jill Simpson, Business Relations Specialist from Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities; Blanchard Valley Center’s implementation of Project LIFE in Hancock County with Tanya Weising-Pike, Principal from Blanchard Valley Center; and supports for employment with transition-age population with Nicole Gunka, SSA Manager.
