Women’s Mentoring Panel: Staying Calm Through Workplace Challenges

The Chamber will host Women’s Mentoring Connections “Maintaining Your Sense of Calm through Workplace Challenges” on Friday, August 16, from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Birchaven Retirement Village Clubhouse located at 7113 Eastern Woods Parkway, Findlay.

Women’s Mentoring Connection is an open discussion featuring a multi-generational panel of women from various professional backgrounds. In this discussion, we will focus on moving forward successfully after the loss of a job, a demotion, feeling excluded, or a poor performance review. The panel will include: Lori Vance, Hancock Hotel; Robyn Dilley, Citizens National Bank; Katie Clark, Fox Run of Findlay Assisted Living; and Katie Bakies, Chick-fil-A Findlay. Sandy Franks, retiree from Whirlpool Corporation, will facilitate the discussion.

Women’s Mentoring Connections is a free program, but attendees are encouraged to bring a donation for a local nonprofit. Admission to this program will help benefit the Humane Society & SPCA of Hancock County. Suggested donation items include paper towels, dog treats, white copy paper, and distilled water.

To register, visit FindlayHancockChamber.com/WomensLeadership, email RSVP@FindlayHancockChamber.com, or call 419.422.3313.

This program is sponsored by Birchaven Clubhouse, Blanchard Valley Health System, and Shirley’s Gourmet Popcorn.
