Leap of Kindness Day 2020

The Findlay∙Hancock County Chamber of Commerce is encouraging the Findlay and Hancock County community to give back on Leap Day, February 29, 2020.

What will you do with your extra day this year? The Chamber of Commerce encourages you to participate in Leap of Kindness Day on February 29th. Leap of Kindness Day is an initiative started by the Saratoga County Foundation in 2016 to encourage employers, employees, individuals, and families to take action and do something kind for others on this extra day.

The Findlay-Hancock County Chamber has coordinated an effort to benefit the West Ohio Food Bank, who has a great need for personal care items. Suggested items include toilet paper, soap, shampoo, deodorant, or other personal care items. Donations can be brought to the University of Findlay basketball games on February 29th, and those who donate at the games can receive free popcorn.
