Holiday Parties and Employer Liability – Fresh Brewed Business

The Findlay∙Hancock County Chamber of Commerce will host Fresh Brewed Business on Tuesday, November 5th from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at the Marathon Center for the Performing Arts (MCPA), located at 200 W. Main Cross St.

The main speaker for November is Tom Dixon from Eastman & Smith, who will discuss employer liability in regards to holiday parties. Several additional speakers will be in attendance, covering segments related to the topic.

Julie Russell, Blanchard Valley Health System, will give a Health Update; We’ll hear about Giving Tuesday from Brian Treece with the Community Foundation; Brianna Ybarra from Hancock County Job & Family Services will talk about Seasonal Hiring, and Mayor Christina Muryn will give an update on the upcoming 2020 Census.

This monthly program is a business and professional development program of the Chamber of Commerce designed to offer a variety of information to the business community, inform Chamber members about public issues, and establish a stronger voice for the business community. Non-members are welcome and encouraged to attend as well so they may experience the value of a membership with the Chamber of Commerce.
