Developing our Manufacturing Workforce – Fresh Brewed Business – September 10

The Findlay∙Hancock County Chamber of Commerce will host Fresh Brewed Business on Tuesday, September 10th from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at the Marathon Center for the Performing Arts (MCPA), located at 200 W. Main Cross St.

The main speakers for September are Laurie Zydonik, Raise the Bar Hancock County, and Tony Miller, Cooper Tires, who will discuss the needs of Hancock County’s manufacturing workforce and the how we can fill those needs. Several additional speakers will be in attendance, covering segments related to the topic.

Kelly Lowry, CompManagement, will provide a Workers Compensation Update; Nicole Boes with Home Depot RDC will give a Business Tip; Pam Hamlin will give an update on the Millstream Career Center; Hiro Kawamura of the University of Findlay will give an Education Update; Ben Hippensteel from FOCUS will give a Non-Profit Update.

This monthly program is a business and professional development program of the Chamber of Commerce designed to offer a variety of information to the business community, inform Chamber members about public issues, and establish a stronger voice for the business community. Non-members are welcome and encouraged to attend as well so they may experience the value of a membership with the Chamber of Commerce.
