This Privacy Policy and Terms of Use (“Policy”) describes the information practices of the Findlay Hancock County Chamber of Commerce (the “Chamber” and referred to herein as “we”, “us”, or “our”, as applicable). Please take a moment to read through this Policy so you understand how the Chamber collects, uses, stores, and shares the information it collects from you, and your choices regarding our collection and use of such information.

This Policy applies to this website located at and any other online and mobile websites, blogs, social media pages, and mobile applications operated by the Chamber (the “Site”). The terms of this Policy apply to all users of the Site. By accessing and using the Site, you agree that you have read and understood the terms of use detailed in this Policy and agree to be bound by their provisions. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS OF USE, DO NOT USE THE SITE.

We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy and the Site at any time, in our sole discretion, with or without notice to you. Please review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Site and/or provision of your information thereafter constitute your acceptance of such changes.

We collect information from you, some of which is personally identifiable information that either identifies, relates to, describes, references, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or household (“Personal Information”). Personal Information is collected when you voluntarily choose to disclose such information to us and may include your name, email address, phone number, and address, as well as an account username, password, and other information necessary to authenticate and securely provide access to the password-protected areas of the Site.

We may also use cookies, clear GIFs, web beacons, and other behavior-based tools that automatically collect data on your views and engagement with the Site, including your web browser type and version, domain names, and other similar information. Cookies are small data files that are sent by a web server to be stored on our device’s hard drive. You do not need to enable cookies to visit our Site.

The Chamber does not sell personal information to third parties. However, for an annual fee, we do provide access to the contact information of all Chamber members, to those Chamber members who purchase a subscription to such information.

In addition to the specific situations discussed elsewhere in this policy, we disclose information with third party service providers who help us to administer our Site, conduct surveys, provide technical support, fulfill orders, and process payments. We may also ask if you would like us to share your information with other unaffiliated third parties who are not described elsewhere in this policy. Additionally, we may disclose information in response to subpoenas, warrants, or court orders, or in connection with any legal process, or to comply with relevant laws. We may also share your information to establish or exercise our rights, to defend against a legal claim, to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding possible illegal activities, suspected fraud, safety of person or property, or a violation of our policies, or to comply with your request for the shipment of products to or the provision of services by a third party intermediary.

Our Site may contain links to other third-party websites not owned, operated, maintained by, or related to the Chamber (“Third-Party Sites”). Any such hyperlinks are to be accessed at the user’s own risk. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, data collection, policies, or any other aspect of a Third-Party Site, even if our Site contain a link to such site. This Privacy Policy does not apply to Third Party Site, and we encourage you to independently read and understand each Third-Party Site’s own privacy policies. The presence of a link to a Third-Party Site does not necessarily indicate that such Third-Party Site is sponsored by or affiliated with the Chamber in any way.

Cookies: Web browser applications (such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox and Apple Safari) typically have features that prevent cookies from being sent or notify you when they are sent. You will need to update your browser’s cookie settings in accordance with your preferences. Your ability to limit cookies is subject to your browser settings and limitations. If you do not wish to receive promotional communications from us, you can opt out at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in those communications, or by contacting us as provided in the “Contact Us” section below. Please note that the Chamber may continue to send you non-promotional communications, such as those regarding your membership and other service-related matters.

Our Site is directed toward and designed for use by persons aged 13 or older. The Chamber will not establish or maintain membership or access for any child whom we know to be under the age of 13. We do not solicit or knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we discover that we have received personal information from an individual who indicates that they are, or whom we otherwise have reason to believe is, under the age of 13, we will delete such information from our systems. Additionally, a child’s parent or legal guardian may request that the child’s information be corrected or deleted from our files by contacting us as provided in the “Contact Us” section below.

You agree to use the Site in accordance with this Policy and all applicable laws and regulations. You are solely responsible to maintain the confidentiality of your login information and the use of your account, and for all activities conducted using your account. In the event of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security, you must immediately notify the Chamber. You also agree not to (a) modify, adapt, translate, or reverse engineer any portion of the Site; (b) use the Site for any unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious purposes, or to solicit any such activity; (c) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any accounts, features, systems, or networks through hacking, password mining, or any other means; (d) use the Site in any way that could disrupt, damage, disable, overburden, or impair it or its systems, servers, or networks; (e) frame or mirror any portion or feature of the Site; (f) use any “deep-link”, “page-scrape”, “robot”, “spider”, or other automatic device, program, algorithm, or methodology, or any similar or equivalent manual process, to: (1) access, acquire, copy, or monitor any portion of the Site; (2) reproduce or circumvent the navigational structure or presentation of the Site; (3) obtain or attempt to obtain any materials, documents, or information through any means not purposely made available through the Site; (g) use any device, software, or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of the Site or with any other person’s use or enjoyment of the Site; (h) transmit any viruses, worms, defects, Trojan horses, time bombs, cancel-bots, corrupted files, or other items of a destructive nature; (i) circumvent or attempt to circumvent any security or authentication measures implemented by us or on our behalf; or (j) forge headers or otherwise manipulate identifiers.
