Office Ergonomics and Home Office Set-Up Recommendations

The Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation will host Hancock County Safety Council, featuring a presentation titled “Office Ergonomics and Home Office Set-Up Recommendations” on Thursday, October 6th from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm at the Hilton Garden Inn in Findlay. The event costs $20 to attend. The event will feature main speaker Lisa Conine, Ergonomic Consultant for the Ohio BWC.

In this session, attendees will acquire a better understanding about office ergonomic risk factors; learn ergonomic control measures designed to reduce or eliminate ergonomic risk factors in an office environment; and find office ergonomic resources.

About Lisa:
Lisa Conine has been an Ergonomic Consultant for the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation’s Division of Safety and Hygiene since January 1993. She conducts ergonomic evaluations, training, and assists employers with the implementation of an ergonomics process. Lisa also assists employers with the BWC-Safety Intervention Grant application process. Lisa earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Toledo and her Associates in Applied Science from Lourdes University. Lisa is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Licensed in the State of Ohio and Certified Occupational Safety Specialist through the American Council for Construction Education.

The Hancock County Safety Council is co-sponsored by the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation Safety & Hygiene Division, and holds regular meetings to increase awareness of a safe environment in the workplace.
