Hancock Leadership Now Accepting 2019 Class Project RFPs

(FINDLAY, Ohio, July 16, 2018) – The Hancock Leadership program is now accepting RFPs from local organizations to help the 2019 class choose their local service project. The project proposal must have a central service component, and be community oriented; it must be able to be completed on or before June 30, 2019; and funding cannot exceed $10,000. Select applicants will have the opportunity to present their projects to the class in October. Proposals must be submitted to the Chamber no later than August 17, 2018 for consideration.

Recent Hancock Leadership classes have completed the following: Hidden in Plain Sight mobile trailer, Buddy Benches for Hancock County, Family Literacy Nights, increased mentors for the Children’s Mentoring Connection, and the re-building of the J.T. Boyd Pavilion at Camp Berry.

HL is a program of the Findlay∙Hancock County Chamber of Commerce and is an investment in the future of Findlay and Hancock County. The program’s mission is to develop and cultivate all people with a passion to serve our community through a dynamic learning experience that encourages self-discovery, fosters relationships and inspires stewardship.

About Hancock Leadership:

HL ’19 will participate in a nine-month seminar program which will begin with a Saturday retreat in August. During the class year, members will be exposed to many aspects of the Findlay•Hancock County community including agriculture, city/county infrastructure, local history, legal system, public safety, business & economic development, health & human services, education and arts & media.
