Preparing Your Retail Business for the Holidays

The Chambr is hosting a Small Business Workshop titled “Preparing Your Retail Business for the Holidays” on Wednesday, August 10th from 8:30 – 9:30 am. The workshop is free for Chamber Members to attend, and will be hosted at the Chamber’s office located at 123 East Main Cross St. in downtown Findlay.

Main speaker Cathy Nagle-Ervin will walk through how to prepare to be ready to maximize sales and profits this holiday season. There are opportunities for all retailers to put more money inside their cash register tills this time of year rather than leaving $20’s, $50’s and even $100’s lying on the sidewalk. In addition, Anne Cole from Simpay will be providing holiday tips about merchant services.

Retailers will learn:

  • Pre-Holiday marketing to build your shoulder season
  • Hiring and training seasonal employees
  • Understanding your “Holiday Shopper”
  • Holiday windows that pull people inside the store
  • Maximize your Holiday merchandise assortment
  • In-season marketing to increase foot traffic.

To register, please visit www.FindlayHancockChamber.com/Workshops.
